Queue & Generation
Once you hit the generate button, VidRush takes over. Your video enters a cloud-based processing queue where the AI writes the script, generates narration, sources visuals, applies your theme, and assembles everything into a finished video.
What to expect
Processing time: Most videos complete in 50–60 minutes. Longer or more complex projects may take slightly longer. During peak usage periods when many creators are generating at the same time, wait times can increase beyond this range.
You can close your browser. Generation runs entirely in the cloud. Close the tab, shut down your computer, go do something else. Your video will be waiting in Projects when it’s done.
Checking your video’s status
Open the Projects section in the left sidebar to see all your videos. Each project shows its current state:
- Queued - Waiting to start processing. Normal during busy periods.
- Processing - Actively being generated.
- Editing - Complete and waiting for you in the editor.
- Failed - Something went wrong. Check the error message and try again, or contact support through the Crisp chat widget with your Video ID.
If your video seems stuck
Occasionally a video may appear stuck in “Queued” or “Processing” for longer than expected. Before reaching out to support:
- Refresh the page, the status display sometimes lags behind actual progress.
- Wait at least 90 minutes before assuming something is wrong, especially during peak hours.
- If the video still hasn’t completed after 2 hours, open a support ticket through the Crisp chat widget and include your Video ID.
What happens during generation
Here’s the full pipeline your video goes through:

| Creating the voiceover | Generating the narration audio |
| Syncing audio | Aligning narration with section transitions |
| Planning visuals | Searching and selecting B-roll, maps, and motion templates |
| Double-checking content | Ensuring topic coherence and visual alignment |
| Making your visuals | Rendering motion graphics, transitions, and video layers |
| Finalizing your video | Combining all assets, running final checks, and saving |
Credits and generation
Credits are deducted when the video completes, not when it enters the queue. If a generation fails due to a system error, you won’t be charged. See Credits & Billing for how deductions work.
