Community & Updates
Changelogs: VidRush V2 is rolling out in stages. New features and changes appear in What’s New in the sidebar. A changelog is also posted on Discord (#announcements), so check there for what is new in your build before reporting unexpected behavior as a bug.
VidRush is built in close collaboration with its creator community. Here’s where to go for support, feedback, learning, and staying current.
In-app support (Crisp chat)
For account issues, billing questions, technical problems, or anything that needs hands-on help, use the Crisp chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the app at app.vidrush.ai . This is the fastest and most reliable way to reach the support team.
Response times are typically within a few hours. Complex requests involving manual permissions or account investigation may take up to 48 hours.
→ Always use Crisp for direct support requests, not Discord DMs.
Discord community
The VidRush Discord is the central hub for everything beyond direct support.
What you’ll find there:
- #announcements: New features, updates, and platform changes are posted here first, often before they’re reflected in the documentation.
- Voice recommendations: Community-curated lists of “Golden Voices” (stable, natural-sounding) and voices to avoid. Always check before committing to a long render.
- Niche ideas and strategy: See what niches other creators are testing, what’s performing, and what to avoid.
- Bug reports: Report issues and see known bugs being tracked.
AI assistant in Discord
VidRush has deployed a custom AI assistant directly in the Discord server, trained on this documentation. Before opening a support ticket, try the /ask command, it solves about 90% of common queries instantly.
Type /ask followed by your question (e.g., “/ask What is the item limit for a 10-minute listicle?”) and the bot will search the docs and respond with an answer. You can use it in public channels like #ask-to-ai, or in a private DM with the bot.
Feedback & Roadmap
VidRush maintains a public feedback board where you can submit ideas, report bugs, and vote on feature requests. Access it from the Feedback section in the left sidebar of the app. The team actively reviews submissions. Features with strong community support get prioritized on the development roadmap.
To submit feedback, open the Feedback section in the left sidebar, click + Feedback, and categorize your post as either a Feature Request (for new capabilities) or Other (for general improvements or observations).
You can track the status of every request on the Roadmap tab: items move through In Review (being evaluated, vote to boost priority), Planned (confirmed for a future update), In Progress (currently being built), and Completed (live in the app). The Changelog tab shows a history of recent updates, fixes, and shipped features.
What’s New & In-App Announcements
VidRush announces new features inside the app itself, so you no longer have to be in Discord to know what changed in your build.
There are three places you will see an announcement, and they interrupt you differently.
| Where | What it is | How it clears |
|---|---|---|
| What’s New | The full history, browsed when you want it. An unread dot appears on the sidebar row when there is something you have not seen | Visiting the page |
| Banner | One line floating over the page for a launch you should not miss. Non-blocking, you can keep working | Dismissed once, permanently |
| Popup | The longer story behind a launch, sometimes with a video or images. Blocks the page until you close it | Dismissed |
The What’s New page
Open What’s New from the left sidebar. Entries are listed newest first, with three tabs:
- All, everything
- New features, capability launches, written by the team
- Version updates & bug fixes, grouped into Improvements and Bug fixes
An unread dot sits on the sidebar row whenever there is something new. Visiting the page clears it.
Check What’s New before reporting unexpected behaviour as a bug. VidRush V2 rolls out in stages, so a change in your build may already be documented there.
Banners and popups
A banner appears at the top of the page it applies to. Dismiss it and it stays dismissed permanently, and across every device you sign in on, because dismissal is saved to your account rather than your browser.
Some banners have a button that opens a popup with the full story. Popups can also open on their own on a relevant page. Either way, closing one is enough.
You only ever see announcements that apply to you. Targeting is resolved before anything reaches your browser, so an announcement meant for another plan or another surface never appears for you.
Dismissal is tied to you, not to your workspace. If you are a team member, dismissing a banner does not dismiss it for the account owner, and marking What’s New as read does not mark it read for anyone else. See Workspaces & Team Management.
Good to know
- Announcements are informational. Nothing you dismiss changes your account, your plan, or your settings.
- Discord is still the fastest source. New features are often posted in #announcements before they reach What’s New.
- This is not the Feedback changelog. The Changelog tab on the Feedback board tracks shipped requests from the community board; What’s New is the product’s own release history. Both are worth checking.
