Updating Your Plan
You can upgrade, downgrade, switch between monthly and yearly billing, or pause your subscription at any time from your account settings.
How to change your plan
- Open Settings in the left sidebar, then Billing & Subscription. You will see your current plan, the per-minute price on it, your next renewal date, credit balance, and upcoming payment.
- Important: if Pay-As-You-Go is enabled, turn it off first and save. The system does not allow plan changes while PAYG is active.
- Click Manage Billing. You are redirected to Stripe’s secure Billing Portal, where you can review your current plan, payment method, and invoice history.
- In the Billing Portal, click Update Subscription.
- Select your new plan and billing interval (monthly or yearly), then click Continue.
- Review the new plan details, pricing, and any prorated amount, then confirm with Subscribe and Pay.
When changes take effect: upgrades apply immediately. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle.
Prorated upgrades: when you upgrade mid-cycle, you may not receive the full credit allocation immediately, because the upgrade is prorated — you are charged a smaller amount for the partial period, and credits are granted to match. Full credits arrive on your next normal renewal.
On the highest plan (Studio), no upgrade options appear; the portal lists the lower tiers only.
Switching to yearly billing
Yearly billing gives you two months free: you pay 10x the monthly price for 12 months of service. Credits still renew monthly, so you are never waiting a full year for your allocation. To switch, follow the steps above and select the yearly version of your plan.
Pausing your subscription
You can pause your subscription for up to 3 months instead of cancelling:
- Your workspace and all content are preserved for the entire pause.
- Billing stops while paused and resumes automatically when the pause ends.
- While paused, a pause screen appears on login, where you can restart your subscription at any time.
If you plan to come back, pausing beats cancelling.
